I'm So Sheepy E.P.
On July 1st, 2003 Calgary, Alberta's IN TRANSIT and Pinawa, Manitoba's SDRecords released Half-Handed Cloud's "I'm so Sheepy EP." This was the second and final release in the well dreamed but short-lived IN TRANSIT audio series.
Wandering aimlessly since the first year of this second millennium, this flock of 10 concise yet complex songs had finally been gathered together for a proper CD release. Complete with "bah, bah, bah's," I'm So Sheepy tells us stories of lost sheep and the joy and peace they ultimately find in the arms of their shepherd. Like a new-born lamb, Sheepy wobbles, stutters, and shakes. Heavenly melodies frolic through a wilderness of tangled instrumentation, get snagged on a branch, and tumble to the ground; only to get up and head in a new direction. Sheepy's beautiful home-made awkwardness is matched perfectly with the organic, limited to 500 copies, hand-screened cardboard packaging that the disc finds its home in.
