Belltower is Bridgit DeCook. Bridgit DeCook is label friend, Illinoisemaker, Castanet, and righthand woman to Liz Janes live. Asthmatic Kitty is proud to support Bridgit in her musical efforts by sponsoring the release of her first recording.
In the Spring of 2005, Bridgit and producer Chris Schlarb went into the studio to record four original songs and one drastically reworked cover of the Pet Shop Boys' "Two Divided By Zero." From the classic solo performance of DeCook's "Deep Down" to the upright bass and electric slide guitar of "Climbing Texas", Sweet Fruit is a brief hint at a flowering new voice.
Packaged in slim cardboard sleeve with beautiful artwork by Casey Roberts, this release is only available through our website, but will also soon be available for download through most major digital music services.
We are very excited to see what the future holds for Belltower.
